Can recommend for a brief sojourn
Clean room, friendly staff, with a stunning view from our spacious accommodation that included a coffee machine and fridge, and the fitness center was a nice perk after a long day of hiking.
Everything met my expectations.

The mountain views are stunning from the balconies, which makes for great morning coffee moments. The outdoor hot tub offers a nice spot to relax after a long day in the mountains, enhancing the stay with some well-deserved leisure time.
Lack of air conditioning made for an uncomfortable stay, particularly during warmer nights, as air circulation was virtually nonexistent. The room felt somewhat neglected with crumbs on the floor and a sofa emitting an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the bathroom sink was clogged, and the balcony door was difficult to operate, suggesting a need for better maintenance overall.

Comfortable beds made sleeping easy.
Our stay was marred by a loud ceiling fan that kept us awake due to its clicking noise. To make matters worse, the mattress was not the queen we booked, which left us crammed and uncomfortable. The towels felt rough, and the lack of basic amenities made it difficult to enjoy our stay. Overall, this was not worth the price we paid.

The Glacier Mountaineer Lodge has a lot of great aspects. The location is fantastic, right at the base of the gondola, making it easy to access the slopes. I loved having a nice kitchenette, which allowed us to prepare meals and enjoy them on our patio. The outdoor hot tub was a great way to wind down after skiing, and it had enough space for a decent number of guests. The views from the room were stunning, straight up to the mountains. However, the experience had its downsides. Our duvet was dirty, and despite bringing it up to reception, it wasn't replaced promptly, making for a less than comfortable night. The room itself felt somewhat dated with wear and tear on the furniture, and the absence of air conditioning was a bit challenging during the warm afternoons. Also, the extra charges for parking felt a little unnecessary since we parked for free across the street. Overall, the place has charm but could definitely use some updates and better housekeeping.

Had an amazing time with friends! The location was perfect for skiing at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and snowshoeing at Golden Nordic Ski Club. The hot tub was a hit after a long day, and we loved the sauna and gym facilities, making our stay more enjoyable.
We encountered issues with the elevator being out of service, which made it challenging when carrying our gear up and down. Staff could have been more helpful in addressing this.

It was just a balanced option for a quick trip in Golden with attractive and competitive value for money. The balcony provided a great view of the ski hill and mountains, perfect for relaxing. Be aware that rooms aren't very soundproof, so choose yours wisely.

Ideal for Couples looking for Cozy Escapes
We booked a One-Bedroom Suite that came with a washer and dryer, so doing laundry after a week of travel was a game changer. Plus, the view from our room was amazing, and we had everything we needed for cooking.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but given the amenities, it still felt reasonable.

Skiing access was exceptional, with plenty of dining options conveniently located downstairs. The two-bedroom suite was immaculate and stocked with ample supplies, which made our stay pleasant. Underground parking was a nice touch, but I did notice that the elevator was out during our arrival, which could be an issue for some. Also, the lack of air conditioning didn’t affect my experience, as the fresh mountain air was refreshing during the summer.
